Career Pathways
CVCC’s Adult Education Career Pathway program is a series of programs and support services that enable students, often while still working, to gain employability skills over time. Career pathways allow students to earn college credit at the same time that they earn their GED.
Each step of the career pathway program prepares students to progress to the next level of employment and/or education. It targets jobs in industries that are importance to local economies.
CVCC’s TRACK program ensures that your track is the pathway to success for you. CVCC’s TRACK allows dual enrollment in GED prep classes and college coursework in:
- Welding
- Logistics (MSSC – Certified Logistics Associate, Certified Logistics Technician)
- Industrial Maintenance (MSSC – Certified Production Technician)
- Nursing Assistant
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- North Star Digital Literacy Certificates –
*Alabama Career Essentials (ACE) Credential
