The Mathematics Division is composed of four highly qualified full-time at faculty members who are committed to providing outstanding mathematics instruction in a supportive learning environment. The math faculty devote a lot of time and energy, both in the classroom and out, to help students make sense of and even enjoy mathematics. Mathematical knowledge and thinking are necessary to thrive in today’s world but many students find mathematics to be a challenge.
To meet the needs of students seeking Associate of Liberal Arts, Associate of Science and Associate of Applied Science degrees offer a wide variety of math classes to meet AREA III requirement. The math department offers math classes from elementary algebra classes through pre-calculus and calculus. Additional math courses offered are Math for Elementary Teachers, Finite Mathematics, and Statistics. Math classes are offer traditional face-to-face classes, hybrid classes, term classes and online classes.
