Chattahoochee Valley Community College has partnered with Barnes & Noble College to provide a simple and cheaper program for students to get the course materials they need, the Pirates Book Pack program. Instead of paying $100s for the school textbooks that you will usually use for a single semester, you are actually renting them directly from the bookstore for a discounted rate. This rate is a $26 per credit hour cost and will be billed to your account.

Upon registering for courses, students will be automatically enrolled into the program. Once you’ve successfully selected your courses, the bookstore will start preparing your order.

Starting 30 days before the first day of classes, you will receive an email to your Piratemail account to verify your order and select your fulfillment preference.

An email notification will be sent to your Piratemail account when your order is ready for pickup or when it ships. Your digital materials will be delivered for your course(s) within Canvas on the first day of class.
