A university parallel program allows students to complete the first two years of a baccalaureate degree. CVCC offers two transfer degrees, the Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees. The Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts transfer pathway includes majors such as Art; Elementary or Secondary Education; Health and Physical Education; Music or Theater at a four-year institution. The Associate of Science in General Studies transfer pathway includes majors such as Biology, Engineering, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Business Administration at a four-year institution.
Students are strongly encouraged to complete an Official Alabama Transfers Guide. The Official Guide is a legal agreement between the student and the four-year institution.
