Students interested in the Federal Work Study program must submit a FWS Pre-Screening Form prior to completing the FWS application online. This form allows us to determine your eligibility before beginning the process. The form can be found under the Student Forms page.
Federal College Work Study Federal Work Study is part-time employment on campus. It allows students to earn a portion of the money which is needed to finance their education. Students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and a Chattahoochee Valley Community College Work Study Application to receive consideration. Students enrolled at least half-time ( 6 credit hours) may work up to 18 hours per week around their class schedule. Job placement is based on job availability and job skills; as well as, the student’s financial need and desire to work. Work study positions are awarded on a first come, first serve basis.
