Computer Information Technology

Program Overview

Welcome to CVCC and the exciting world of information technology.  Whether you want to learn about developing apps for gadgets and smart phones or how to secure a network, CVCC is the place for you.  The Computer Information Technology Programs provide students with an opportunity to develop skills in a world of network security, cyber defense, app development, and other areas involving the use of technology. Students can earn industry certifications at the same time they earn their degrees.

We offer A.A.S. degrees for students who wish to enter the job market right after CVCC, as well as an A.S. Pre-Computer Science Option for students who plan to transfer to a university to earn a Bachelor’s degree.  In addition, we offer certificates that allow students to reach their career goals quickly.  Most of our courses are held in both an online and traditional classroom environment, which provides flexibility for the student.
