Phenix City, Ala. — Chattahoochee Valley Community College (CVCC) is now accepting applications for the position of President, the chief executive officer of the College. The President reports to the Chancellor of the Alabama Community College System and provides leadership for all academic, administrative, workforce, and community engagement initiatives.
CVCC seeks a visionary, student‑focused leader with strong experience in higher education or a related field. The successful candidate will advance student success, workforce development, fiscal responsibility, and partnerships with business, industry, and community stakeholders while promoting access and equity across the College’s service area.
Founded in 1974, CVCC serves approximately 1,360 students annually in Phenix City, Russell County, surrounding Alabama counties, and the Fort Benning–Columbus, Georgia region. The College plays a vital role in preparing students for transfer, careers, and workforce credentials aligned with regional economic needs.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $145,000 to $205,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
