Chattahoochee Valley Community College offers short certificates in childcare and development and child development associate –CDA credential. Child Development is a program of study that prepared students for entry-level employment in the field of early care and education of children. The program provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to work effectively with young children and families. Graduates are employed as administrators in private preschool programs; as teachers in state pre-kindergarten programs, preschool programs, Head Start, and Early Head Start programs; or as instructional assistants in public school systems.
