PHENIX CITY, AL — There’s still time to join Chattahoochee Valley Community College (CVCC) this fall! In order to meet the demands of prospective students and offer a variety of classes at flexible times through traditional, online, and hybrid offerings, the College offers term II or mini-term courses.
“The mini-term is designed for students to complete coursework in a shorter period of time, eight weeks,” said Dr. Sherri Taylor, Dean of Student and Campus Services. “You may enroll in as many as 12 credit hours. Registration is going on now.”
“These shorter, more intense sessions are ideal for students for a variety of reasons,” said Nicole Jackson, Dean of Instruction. “Whether a student needs to take a prerequisite for a course needed in an upcoming semester, or wants to take a course for advancement closer to degree completion, Term II is a good option.”
Classes include Fire Science, English Composition, Music and United States History, just to name a few. Current and potential students may schedule an appointment for registration by calling Amanda Gamble at 334-291-4998 or emailing her at Amanda.gamble@cv.edu.
Visit the College’s website at CV.EDU for more information. CVCC is also assisting students with applying for financial aid.
Term II classes begin October 12. If financial aid is needed, students should allow five to seven business days to process the paperwork.
