PHENIX CITY, AL— For the first time in more than a year, Chattahoochee Valley Community College will host its traditional New Student Experience on campus, in person. College officials say there are two dates available to attend: July 16 and August 6.
“We cannot express how excited we are to provide an opportunity for new students to see first-hand what is available to them at CVCC,” said Associate Dean of Student Development and Success Vickie Williams. “Since March of 2020, we have held these events virtually, and it was great to be able to continue to serve our students. This time, we’re looking forward to seeing them on campus.”
New Student Experience is considered a must-attend event to learn all things CVCC. It is designed for prospective students and their families to learn more about the opportunities available at CVCC through an informational overview of the College and one-on-one advisement.
Potential students arrive as a college applicant and leave as an official CVCC Pirate, because College staff members make the process easy as they help navigate through everything from financial aid to registration.
Whether you are a recent high school graduate, a military spouse looking for a career to supplement your household income, or someone looking to advance your current career, New Student Experience is the premier event to put you on track for success.
Students planning to attend CVCC fall semester should complete a College application online. Fall classes begin August 24. Register for New Student Experience now by visiting the College website at www.cv.edu. For more information, call 334-214-4803.
