Phenix City, Ala. — Chattahoochee Valley Community College and the CVCC Foundation announce the inaugural CVCC Giving Days, a month-long campaign throughout October inviting alumni, employees, businesses, community partners and supporters to invest in CVCC students and their success.
Giving Days will highlight three opportunities honoring individuals whose legacies continue to make a difference at CVCC:
Oct. 1–10: Gail Green Scholarship
Supporting students pursuing careers in public safety.
Oct. 11–17: Mary Kate Stovall-Tapley Scholarship
Honoring a legacy of service and support for students.
Oct. 18–31: Chris Patterson Student Support Fund
Helping students with unexpected needs or challenges that could interfere with their education.
Throughout October, CVCC will share stories about the people behind these funds, the students they support and the impact giving can have on a student’s educational journey.
Community members are encouraged to give and share the campaign. Every contribution can help remove barriers, create opportunities and open doors to brighter futures for CVCC students.
