As your new SGA President, I am looking forward to serving you in the coming terms!

I am a sophomore and my immediate plan is to receive my Associate Degree from CVCC in preparation for my long term goal of going to theological seminary.  I would like to eventually serve God and my country as a military chaplain.

Schomburg Road Baptist is my home church but I am presently helping as a Student and Youth Leader at Rose Hill Baptist.  I have been on numerous mission trips and I teach VBS every summer.  I perform illusion for churches and civic events and I have a business, Mad Hatter’s Magic, providing entertainment for parties and private venues.

My friends know that I am an avid gamer.  I enjoy electronic, role-playing, card, and board games.  Not as well known is my passion for cooking. I once took first place in a Chili Cook-Off!” – Luke

“My name is Lydia Lake. I am a lifelong resident of Phenix City, Alabama. I started elementary school at Glenwood and eventually transferred in the fourth grade to Smiths Station. I was a cheerleader for many years, starting at Gym Tech when I was six years old then moving to cheering for my school while in junior high and high school. I graduated from Smiths Station High School with the class of 2013. In high school, I was part of Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

I am currently an Ambassador at CVCC. I am going to transfer to Auburn University in the fall of 2015, where I will be majoring in political science. I plan to attend law school after I graduate from Auburn. I am currently not sure which field of law I would like to concentrate, but I am leaning toward being a prosecutor or practicing real estate law.” – Lydia

“I am Vania Wyatt, currently attending CVCC and serving as an incoming officer of the Student Government Association (Vice President of Finance). My program of study at CVCC is General Studies, and I plan to transfer to either the University of Alabama or Columbus State University. At either one of the universities, I plan to major in Computer Information Science. Once I complete my studies, I will join the Air Force Reserve as well as start my career”- Vania
