As a Chattahoochee Valley Community College student you have become part of a story that began more than 30 years ago. It was the dream of a few to put postsecondary education within reach of the multitudes. In 1973, young Chattahoochee Valley State Junior College began with 289 students attending classes in churches, high schools and even banks. Now, CVCC educates and trains more than 2000 each semester through traditional college courses, GED preparation classes and other workforce development initiatives.
