CVCC's Business Office Purpose Statement
The purpose of the Business Office is to fulfill its duties and responsibilities in a timely, accurate, and complete manner to ensure CVCC finances its business and educational operations efficiently and effectively and in accordance with state and federal regulations. The Business Office will treat its customers in a cheerful, professionally competent manner, and the services division will be highly valued by its customers.
Processing Payments
The Business Office processes payments for tuition, scholarships, graduation, parking fines, testing and other fees. Payments may be made in the form of cash, check, money order, MasterCard or Visa.
Receipts
Duplicate receipts are available upon request by the student only. Students picking up receipts must show a photo ID. Form 1098-T for Hope/Lifetime Learning Tax Credit will be mailed to the student’s address on file. Duplicate 1098-T forms may be obtained only in writing and allow 10 business days for processing.
Scholarships
If a third-party agency (employer, governmental agency, private scholarship donor, etc.) will be paying your tuition, fees or other educational expenses, you should contact the Business Office prior to registering. An approved authorized award letter or form from the third party agency must be presented or be on file with the Business Office prior to tuition, fees or other educational expenses being charged to the scholarship.
