What you need to know...

Turn it in is plagiarism prevention software.  It is designed to analyze students work and quickly gauge if the work was copied from another source.  When a paper is submitted Turn it in does an exhaustive search of billions of pages including papers from other Turn it in submissions and returns a report indicating the level of originallity.

CVCC has a subscription to this software and this page was created to give you some information on how to start using Turn it in.

  • Your instructor will create an account for you. You will be notified of your user id and password via e-mail.
  • You may download the Turn it in manual as a reference guide.
  • Watch the training video. (These may take a minute to download)

  • You may access the system by following this link... TurnItIn.com Once you have received your user id and password, log on and set up your user profile and begin submitting your work.
