Web Registration

Pre-requisites for Web Registration

  • You must see your advisor
  • You must complete an advising session
  • You must not be on academic probation
  • You must not have any outstanding fees or holds on your account
  • Your advisor will activate your PIN

Step 1-- Logging In

(Note: Due to the high network traffic during registration, it may take a few minutes to bring up the LOGIN screen. If this occurs, please wait or try back later.)

  • If this is your first time logging on, read this document in its entirety.
  • Click on the button at the end of this page.
  • Enter your STUDENT NUMBER. (this is your Social Security Number without the dashes)
  • Enter your PIN NUMBER. New students must first see an advisor prior to on-line registration to have registration activated. Once your pin has been activated, by default it will be your Date of Birth with a two digit year and no punctuation. 
    -  For Example:  If your social security number were 123-45-6789 and If you birthday is January 22, 1969 then your pin would be 012269
  • Press SIGN IN ( to continue ) or CANCEL ( to exit ).

STEP 2-- At menu screen, you will see these options

  1. Display Courses - allows you to view course offerings on-line
  2. Pre-Registration - allows you to Pre-Register, Drop/Add, and pay tuition for the upcoming semester
  3. Pay Outstanding Charges - allows you to pay prior outstanding fees or tuition using Visa and Mastercard. If you need to pay tuition, you must go through the registration process and click on "Calculate Charges": this takes you to the payment option for paying your tuition.
  4. My Grades - allows you to view/print your current semesters grades
  5. Degree Plan - allows you to view/print your current degree plan
  6. My Schedule - allows you to view/print your current schedule
  7. Unofficial Transcripts - allows you to view/ print your unofficial transcript
  8. View Receipts - allows you to view/print payment receipts generated by the Web Registration System
  9. Change Your Pin - allows you change your personal ID number. Be sure to write down your new PIN

Note:

  • If you have outstanding fees or are currently on processing hold, you will not be allowed to register, check grades, or obtain a copy of your transcript until the hold is cleared.
  • If your advisor has not activated your PIN, you must see your advisor.

STEP 3 (Applies to Registration Only)-- Pre-Registration Page

To Add or Drop a Course: 

  1. Type the course call number as printed in the CVCC schedule. If you do not want to type in each call number, use the SELECT COURSE button to search the current course schedule.
  2. Once you find the course you want to take, click PUSH beside the course and it will automatically insert course call number for you.
  3. Click the "add/drop course"button and this will add it to your listing.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page to view your listing.

To drop a Course that you have added:

  1. Click the "click to drop" button to the right of the course
  • Continue the process of adding or dropping until your schedule is complete.
  • Once your schedule is completed, click the "Calculate Charges" button.

Note: Do not click "Calculate Charges" until you have completed all schedule adjustments. You have not been added to the class until the "Calculate Charges" button is pressed.

You will now see a screen that provides information related to the tuition amounts that you are to pay for the schedule you have chosen. Available financial Aid coverage will also be displayed on the screen.

To complete the entire registration process, you must pay the amount in the "Cash Due" column by the due dates published by Chattahoochee Valley Community College.

Failure to do so on time will result in removal from class. If you feel that the financial aid applied to your account is incorrect, call the CVCC Financial Aid Office.

STEP 5 (Applies to Registration Only)-- Paying Your Tuition

  1. If you are satisfied with your schedule and are ready to pay your tuition and fees by Visa or Mastercard, you can do so on-line by clicking the "Complete Registration/Settle Account" button.
  2. Complete the credit/ debit card information form and follow directions as presented on the web. If you are not able to pay now, you may log back into the online registration page and click on "Pre-Registration" or "Drop/Add", click the "Calculate Charges" botton and continue as above.
  3. If you plan to pay your tuition and fees by check, click the "Print Pre-Registration Mailer" button. This will print only if your PC is connected to a printer. This will print a copy of your schedule, plus all tuition and fees owed.
    • Follow the directions on the mailer and send a check for the amount shown to the following address:

You may pay in person during regular business hours at the CVCC Business Office by check, cash, Visa or Mastercard. To ensure complete registration, full payment must be received by the CVCC payment deadlines.

If you register AFTER the early registration payment deadline, you MUST pay your tuition using Visa or Mastercard at that time. If you do not settle your account at that time, YOUR SCHEDULE WILL BE DROPPED.
