PIRATE BASEBALL TEAM MAKES HISTORY
Athletic Director and Baseball Coach, Adam Thomas, has reason to smile. The sophomores on his team are the all-time winningest class in school history with 79 wins and counting.
The Pirates finished the regular season with a series win over
Jefferson
Davis
Community College
. Their record of 38-16 ties the school record for the most regular season wins in the history of the program. The Pirates won 38 games in 2007 and 2003.
Additionally, Thomas adds that the sophomore class has been the most special class of young men he has ever coached. All 13 sophomores have signed or have scholarship offers to four year institutions. They are:
