The Ready to Work curriculum includes the following topics: Computer Skills; Communication; Problem Solving; Workplace Behavior, including Diversity, Work Ethics, Sexual Harassment, Team Building, and Workplace Violence; Customer Service; Lean Manufacturing; and Workplace Safety. Janet Ormond, CVCC’s new dean of Workforce Development supervises the program. Ormond brings more than 20 years of experience in business and industry, workforce development and technical training to this new position.
