Chattahoochee Valley Community College is committed to serving our active military, veterans and their families. The Financial Aid Office, located on campus in Wilson Hall, is staffed with Susan Bryant, the VA School Certifying Official (SCO). Ms. Bryant is available to assist students not only with setting up their VA benefits, but also their financial aid applications as well.
CVCC also serves its military population with a Ft. Benning site that is fully operational five days a week. The site is staffed by Ms. Michelle Ortiz. The office will function as not only an extension of the Admissions Office, but also as a liaison to the College. Ms. Ortiz will assist students to apply to the college, apply for financial aid, register for advisor approved classes, and pay online.
It is important to know that students can qualify and receive more than one type of financial aid. We encourage all our students to apply for additional aid. To be considered for federal and state financial aid, you must be admitted to the college and complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA should include Chattahoochee Valley Community College federal school code (012182). Please also see our Financial Aid section.
