The ACT Compass test is a comprehensive computerized adaptive testing system. This basically means that its design will get you in and out as soon as possible (most students take between 1.5 – 2 hours to complete).
The test is a diagnostic assessment of the basic skills a student needs to succeed at Chattahoochee Valley Community College. The test places the student in the proper reading, writing, and math classes that allow skill building and provide the greatest chance for success at CVCC. That means this exam is not a pass or fail test and there is no minimum score required for admission.
All ACT Compass assessments are by appointment only. You must have a valid government issues photo ID.
Appointments are scheduled by sending an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. Please use ACT Compass as the subject. Include the full name, student ID# if possible, date of birth, and preferred date and time from the calendar for an appointment.
